Common Marmoset
- This species is easily identified by the two white tufts of hair at the sides of the head, and a white
blaze on the forehead
- The common marmoset lives in a family groups of 3 to 8
- The female delivers between one and three young usually twins after a gestation period of about
150 days
- Only one female per group reproduces. The others are somehow inhabitad from reproduction.
- The father is very involved in parental care, carrying the young twins on his back except during
nursing
